Italian producer and DJ Mariatti presents his new single Patches, a storming and melodic techno track with plenty of dancefloor potential. Created entirely with a single synthesizer—Korg’s venerable MS-20—it’s a great exploration of the flexibility of this machine, with a variety of different sounds layered to create huge amounts of atmosphere. The chordal, distorted stabs which run throughout the track will definitely be stuck in your head for some time after listening. It’s a real catchy number that is sure to get people up on their feet.
